Assistance Schemes


Centre-based Financial Assistance Scheme for Childcare (CFAC)


If you need to place your child in a child care centre but have difficulties paying the fees, you may apply for help under CFAC.

Public Assistance (PA) Scheme


The Public Assistance (PA) scheme is a long-term assistance scheme targeted at the most needy in Singapore. If you are not work-capable due to old-age, illness or disability, have limited financial means to sustain basic living, and have no or very little family support, you may seek help under the PA scheme.

Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) Scheme


If you need to put your child in a student care centre but cannot afford the fees, you may apply for help under SCFA. SCFA is also available to children with disabilities in Special Student Care Centres.

Kindergarten Financial Assistance Scheme (KiFAS)


If you want to place your child in a nursery or kindergarten programme, but cannot afford the fees, you may apply for help under KiFAS. KiFAS is available at eligible non-profit kindergartens.

Work Support (WS) Programme


If your household needs assistance to tide over a difficult period, and you and your household members are prepared to do your best to help yourselves, participate in the Work Support Programme.
