    Getting assistance under ComCare

    If you need help, all you need to do is to approach your Community Development Council (CDC), your Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) or a Family Service Centre (FSC) near you. You can also call the ComCare hotline 1800 222 0000.

  • ComCare Child Care Subsidy»
    If you need to place your child in a child care centre but have difficulties paying the fees, you may apply for help under CFAC.

  • Public Assistance (PA) Scheme»
    The Public Assistance (PA) scheme is a long-term assistance scheme targeted at the most needy in Singapore. If you are not work-capable due to old-age, illness or disability, have limited financial means to sustain basic living, and have no or very little family support, you may seek help under the PA scheme.

  • CCC ComCare Fund»
    The fund, administered by Citizens' Consultative Committees (CCCs), provides urgent and temporary assistance in the form of cash, vouchers or food rations.

  • ComCare Medium-Term Assistance»
    If your household members are temporarily unable to work and need assistance for the medium term, you may be eligible to participate in the ComCare Transitions scheme.

  • Medical Fee Exemption Card»
    Provides free medical and hospitalisation treatment at government/restructured hospitals and polyclinics for needy residents of sheltered and disability homes.

  • ComCare Enterprise Fund (CEF)»
    The ComCare Enterprise Fund (CEF) supports new and existing social enterprises in training and/or hiring those who might need help in becoming self-reliant.

  • CEF-Young Start-Up Programme»
    The CEF-Young Start-Up Programme provides funding support to youths in developing and implementing their social enterprise start-ups within the social services sector.

  • CEF-Schools Programme»
    The CEF-Schools Programme supports schools and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in the implementation of programmes targeted at educating youths about social entrepreneurship.
