The consultation period for the proposed changes to the Women’s Charter has been extended to 24 Oct 10.
Since the announcement of the proposed changes to the Charter on 13 Sep 10, MCYS has received a high volume of feedback, both through the consultation website and other channels. In response to the interest generated, MCYS has moved the deadline for submission of feedback from 26 Sep to 24 Oct to give interested members of public more time to provide their views.
The draft Women’s Charter (Amendment) Bill and accompanying paper to explain the changes are posted on REACH at
http://reach.gov.sg. The new consultation period is from 13 Sep 10 to 24 Oct 10. All are welcome to give feedback.
