Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports, will lead a delegation to the Global Summit of Women 2010 in Beijing, China from 20 to 22 May 2010.
The Summit provides an annual global platform for the sharing of best practices in policies and programmes that accelerate economic opportunities for women and girls.
Mrs Yu-Foo will participate in the Summit's Ministerial Roundtable themed ''Leading Change for Women Through Partnerships'' and chair the first session of the Roundtable Discussion on Ministerial Best Practices. She is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports.
